So we are already 6 months into the Harlow & Summer journey as I only started the brand at the end of September 2021 and I think it is good to reflect on the highs and lows.
I can only look back and feel blessed that the long hours put into making the brand happen from the vision I had in my head to putting it on paper and actually making it a reality with the support of an awesome team has paid off. I have so loved getting to know my customers and their needs and I always try and keep a personal touch which is one of my points of difference. The best is when I see a repeat order from a customer which means that they love their Harlow & Summer purchases. I would never have thought I would be making uniforms for 5 star resorts and a special wedding dress for a customer which I feel beyond honored to be doing.
Yes there have been trying times too with load-shedding, import delays with the pandemic amongst others but we adapt. If ever there is a delay in getting back to you it is because Harlow & Summer is just me at the moment from logistics, product development through to marketing :)
We have a small range of exciting winter products we were working on which I cannot wait to share with you next month.
We are off to visit our family in Australia this week whom we have not seen for almost 4 years so beyond excited.
Thank you once again to each and everyone for your ongoing support and kind words always and I hope to meet you all one day.
I have spoken to a couple of woman lately who have a dream and are scared to just take the leap. I encourage you to have the confidence in yourself because if you are passionate about something and have a vision you can make it happen.
